Financial conditions often limit a company’s capacity to grow or compete. Investment projects can be funded with the help of different sources: Apart from owner’s equity and outside funds (f. e. from banks) it is also possible to apply for public subsidies. The Free State of Bavaria, the German Federal Administration and the European Union all offer help for companies: support programmes range from one-time investment grants and long-term interest rate reductions to improving an owner’s equity.
